Do You Qualify To Become An Apprentice

To meet minimum qualifications for apprenticeship, applicants must:

a.be a minimum of 18 years of age.

b.be at least a high school graduate, or have a GED.

c.completed one year of regents high school, college or post secondary algebra.

d. present evidence that you posses a valid drivers license.

e. receive a qualifying score on the aptitude test

f. be a resident for one year of Local Union 241's jurisdiction

 

Prior to being indentured, applicants selected from the pool of interviewed applicants will be required to provide results of a physical examination and a drug/alcohol test as decided by the JATC.

Applicants who meet all basic requirements will be interviewed by the JATC. Apprentices will be selected in order of their final ranking.

When you have competed all the steps listed, and if you meet the minimum requirements, you will be scheduled to take an aptitude test at our Training Center. Watch the site for the dates in which the aptitude tests is administered.
